Hi all,

I have several common Tokheim’s, but none of them have this hole at the top. It is a factory hole because some type of electrical conduit goes to it from the light socket manifold.

You can see the 7” pipe that goes to the hole coming out the side of the manifold. The hole itself is about 1 3/8” dia.

Can anyone please help identify what this was for? I’m considering filling it and taking the pipe off.

Note: It is NOT the small hole for the advertisement banner - that is on the sight glass side. And the on/off switch is in the normal position, down below.

Thanks for any help,
Steve

That allows power to be run to the optional galonizer.

The ones I've seen with that hole had a small light fixture with a red lens. I always reasoned that it indicated power was on to the pump, just my guess.

Ok, Thanks guys. I'm just going to close her up for this restoration. I was more curious than anything.

Thanks for replies,
Steve

Tom is correct. I have one that has the light on the side to indicate that it is on.
