Can anyone tell me if this is automotive related? There are no markings on it anywhere that I can see. It's about 2 feet high in the closed position. Thanks for any help on age, value, etc..

We had something similar, on our farm, when I was a kid. It worked great on equipment due to the fact that tractors and such are higher than a car and the hook caught the piece easily to lift. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I.ve had several of those. they supplied different style adapters that hooked to the rack. I think they are after market accesory jacks for cars up to the mid 50's
