I have a lot of vintage photos from here in Utah of non gas station related advertising that I would like to share , and I will try to put some on each week until they are all shown . If anyone can ad to this please do I would love to see any old pictures of signs . Have a good weekend Peter

Neat to see the transom window opened on the Tavern.....I can just imagine the hot air being vented out at the ceiling level with them. The tavern looks like an art deco beauty as well, and the Orpheum marquee, wowsers! Thanks Peter. Darin

Peter you get glimpses of the stone work on the buildings and there is some real nice work done there as well. Downtown SLC is an underappreciated architectural gem.

There is a lot of great old buildings and houses still here in Salt Lake but sadly so much of what you see and are going to see is gone forever .Fred I hope all is well with you and your family. Thanks Peter

These are both beautiful and a little depressing at the same time. The amount of effort that went in to making these storefronts and advertising beautiful is amazing. We seem to have peaked aesthetically about 75 years ago. Nothing we build today looks like this anymore...that's the depressing part. Thanks for sharing though.
