Hey
Anyone deal with Mecum before. Wanted to attend an auction in NC. I see they want 150 or 500 to register and to view 50 a person. What is up with all this cost. Is this just for the cars or for what they call road art as well. The pictures and descriptions do not seem to address condition , repairs, clear coat or repop. Thanks for any info you can share.

I'm not gonna come out and throw them on the burnpile but do your research, they have no qualms about selling fake items (including cars) as long as they get their cut. All you are going to get is a short description, if you don't see the documentation you can assume it isn't real. A classic example is the upcoming Eddie Vannoy road art collection, never seen so many fantasy/fake items put out there although there are some real items mixed in, mostly restored pumps.
