Does anyone have an access cover for a revere station lighter? It’s at the bottom of the fluted section. Or does anyone repo these?
Also on the bonnet it has really old white paint flaking off and
Fairly nice light pink porcelain underneath.
I’ve never seen any pink before. Did this have a
Certain use or just a random color?

The original ones were not fluted like the pole just flat metal curved to fit around the pole.

It wasn't bad to make a fluted door, but we ran into issues with shapes. The poles are all different and one die would not make them all (probably die wear). Out of 10 to 15 we took patterns from all were different. You would need the pole that the access cover was being made for. It's not feasible to have poles shipped just to make a door. Poleman is 100% correct. The access covers were just smooth sheetmetal. The fluted one we made does look cool though and requires a Pullmax machine to finish it nicely.

Did the originals have a scalloped edge to match the pole or just a flat door open on the edges?

Glad you posted that picture.
I thought my hose hanger was bent, but it’s just like the picture.

I made one out of fiberglass, came out great. Wrapped the pole just above the hole with plastic wrap and then fiberglassed 3/4 of the pole, trimmed and sanded.

What do you think?

Where did you get the base under the post? Did you make it? I could use one!

Marc,
I make a cast iron one for air meters but it has a number of other applications.
