I thought I would post pictures of my 1st gas pump restoration. I guess I saved it from the cliff and made it a Sunoco Pump. I bought it missing a door and parked it in my garage for about 14 years. I finally dragged it out and started ripping it apart. I had to do a lot of sheet metal pounding and straightening but is was a fun project during the COVID lockdown. Lessons learned: buy better single stage paint or go to 2 stage. Use a good spray gun and don’t paint panels outside while your neighbor is mulching leaves with her tractor. Special thanks to Neil Strobel for answering my nine million questions and sending me so many pictures. Thanks Neil !! Tom Buckles did up my VR computer and as you can see from the pictures , it wasn’t pretty but he did his magic on it and it came out nice. I motorized it and made the paddle wheels turn although, the paddle wheel part still needs some more R&D in the noise department. Just thought I would share the outcome. Tim

Looks great. Mulched leaves and wet paint not a happy combination? Loved the story, really nice results!
