The toolbox has shims to adjust automotive wheel alignment camber & caster at the control arm bolts. The feeler gauges and calipers may have been for carburetors or some other auto repair special use measurement. A few other special tools for back in the old days. Not a lot of collector value, but nice go-with auto shop historical items for a period garage display. The Carter sign would be great if more of the paint were still there. Still makes an antique wall hanger until something you like more comes along.

Those things that look like alignment shims are float setting gauges. Most of the sockets are to remove various float seats and power valves.
I used a similar set in the early 60's when I worked at an Ignition and carburetor shop.
Not many around that would know how to use any of it.
The box has a little value , the tools only have value to someone with a Carter manual and a desire to rebuild an outdated carburetor.
