Post your photos of old gas stations, car dealerships and auto service garages as they look today.
Here is a building I saw in recent travels in St. Elmo, TN, near Chattanooga. It may not have been a gas station, but that completely paved front, corner lot and big garage door make it look like it could be to me. What do you think?

Found Along The Way in south-central Wisconsin 2 lane roads. An old station, a still in operation station and a handsome stone garage.
Post pics of what you see along your way.

Not gas station but here are some roadside stops I made on a recent road trip: Root beer stand, ice cream shop in restored Vagabond trailer and Lincoln Highway museum

That's funny Jim...last year this time I ate at the other location in Duluth. I didn't even know the place has old sign decor until I walked in. Nice signs.

Would you approach these folks about their painted over gas station sign? Pretty cool graphics. I think they intend on keeping it. If you're going to ask, be sure to not make 'em upset.

I've noticed a vacant porcelain panel gas station on a main street in Verona, Wisconsin in recent years. I had hoped that the old building wouldn't get torn down. Last week when I passed by I was happy to see that it was all fixed up into a coffee, ice cream cafe joint called "Icki Sticki."

I drove by this station today. Panhandle Gas Station in Plainview, Tx. You have to look closely at the front panel of the canopy but PANHANDLE is there.

Looks like that gas pump is valiantly trying to hold up the roof of that old station building.

I love this persons home.. it's in a smaller town in central IL that I passed through dozens of times.. it was only 1/2 block off of the Main St.... my eye caught it just a few months ago driving past it so I whipped a u-turn and went to check it out.

Visible pumps at a gas station on US 60 in Ansted, WV near Hawk's Nest and New River Gorge National Park. Didn't notice the pumps until I pulled in to buy gas.

While you're in Cincinnati, Ohio to visit the American Sign Museum, a short drive across the river is The Standard Covington for a nice lunch or dinner. This is a vintage Standard gas station that has been lovingly converted into a diner. We had some great food and a fun experience. See photos below. Directions from the American Sign Museum to The Standard Covington: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BMPxe6iof1dvbX2p8
