Here is the other one, it is a salesman sample that fits into a wooden case. Bought both at a garage sale in my town.

I guess you can consider neon clocks to also be neon signs. Here's mine .

I have these two early Claude Federal Neon signs in the kitchen. The "Pig Sandwich" is an old original from a Pig Stand drive-in. It is my favorite, both in looks and in historical significance. Pig Stands started in Dallas, Texas in 1921 and was credited for several firsts. They were credited as the first drive-in restaurant with carhop service. They also "invented" chicken fried steak, Texas toast, and onion rings. The star Cafe sign I like because it says "Real Food". Makes you wonder what people were eating back then if this place had to put that on their sign!

Here’s a giant one I have. It’s not hanging and needs neon, but still a cool sign. It’ll hopefully be going to Columbus or Dixie.

I just did this "poor man's neon" upgrade to my Zephyr letters formerly on a station roof top. I put adhesive backed LED strip lights on the back edges of the letters. These strip lights are currently on sale at Costco.com.

I am not sure I believe you on the pre-61 Mopar! The cars in the picture that aren't pre 61, are cars my father raced that I tracked down and had restored or bought completed. Those will stay in our family forever, but the museums focus is pre 61, anything with tailfins. All of the signs and memorabilia is pre 61.

Mike, Somehow I missed your connection to Herb McCandless, the legendary drag racing idol. I used to love to see his cars compete on the track back in the days when I was a small time racer. So glad you have sought out and preserved his legacy cars.

So glad you have sought out and preserved his legacy cars. It's the reason I do all of this stuff. He loves having people here and we've rebuilt his entire history from scratch. It took years, but if you're really bored, a documentary I had done on him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwiZKEJK4O8
