Anybody here make any furniture using 'found' items or left over pump parts?
If so, show it off!
Here is a lamp I made out of a piece of 100 year old barn timber, an electrical meter and a lamp shade I got at an auction.
Later . . .

I made these lamps out of old gas meters and hour watt meters. The maroon one has the power going through the watt meter and it turns when the light is on.

Matt,
I wanted the meter on my lamp to run too - but the electricity flow was so low that you couldn't really see it move - so I abandoned that idea.
Cool concoctions everyone.
Keep posting!

My wife made the pillow out of a gas pump Hawaii style shirt. And she made a quilt out of my old T-shirts, all for my man cave Petro room. You're only seeing half of the quilt. It's pretty cool.

Another lamp I made from an old quart oil bottle, spout and a bunch of antique marbles.
The hardest part was grinding the hole in the bottom of the bottle! Lol
