Did Sunnoco ever make pump plates out of painted metal? I was always under the impression they did & this plate is real.

I have seen original painted Sunoco plates. I'm pretty sure any Sunoco diamond plate such as this with mounting studs is a pretty sure sign that it is original. Brady

All the ones I ever owned were porcelain. Anyone on here ever own an original painted one??

Yes, the Sunoco 190 was painted tin. The yellow 200 and 200X were porcelain. Also, Sunoco had a slightly larger (wider) blue porcelain version that was had no numbers on it. All the ones I've seen have studs on the back (no grommet holes).
