Can anyone help me with information on a model 244 eco Islander. I need information on what locks the on / off lever in place. I am in the process of restoring one, and I can’t find any information on the components or process that keeps the lever in place .

When you say “locks it in place” are you referring to holding the lever in the on / off position? If so I believe there is a small spring that mounts to the base of the harp directly below the lever. Pictured is the base portion of a harp with the 2 mounting holes pointed out, unfortunately the spring is missing. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong
