I'm relatively new to the hobby and am very happy to add this nice National 64 to the collection. Thank you to whoever posted about building a lift to get a pump into a pickup (Tom Buckles?). I couldn't find the original thread, but remembered the concept enough to build one. This 5 foot pump with guts has such a low center of gravity that it still took two of us to heft it into the truck, but I was glad the wood was scraping on the bed instead of the porcelain. It cradled nicely. I assume this was not originally a Texaco pump. Many years ago someone did minimal work on it and I assume they rebranded it at that time with a new sticker and ad glass. - Jack J.

I was poking around inside my new National 64 and found this tag. It is pretty brittle after 70 years. Well, so am I. - Jack J.
