Iowa buy.
Another 'Ethyl' Globe for my collection.
This was literally 1/2 of a milkglass Globe. Full collar - but the entire back side was busted out and gone.
Had to soak the unit for three days to get this lens to release from the original caulking.
Later . . .

Randy,
I just laid it flat and submerged in water.
every morning I'd run a box cutter blade around the edge to remove any loose caulking.
After a couple of days, the lens popped free.
As a side note, the original mounting bolts for the intact side had small springs between the globe body and the nut.
Never seen that arrangement before! LOL
