I’m getting closer on this build but I just noticed the light switch rod (from what I see in pictures) is missing - the switch works I need the on/off rod

Any ideas on what these look like - I imagine it’s a rod with a 90 degree bend with a loop that connects in between the two pins on the light switch housing

See picture of one with the switch below

Which rod are you missing? There is an inner and outer rod with a toggle between them. See attached schematic. The attached schematic shows the diameter and length of each. My outer rod has three grooves turned into it to help with grip. Hope this helps.

Ah yes, back then they actually had people that could illustrate things.

Not just push a button and have the computer do it . . .

If your looking for the outer rod then thats about what they are. This is basically the same setup as my 996 and the rod is the same that you see in the diagram 8f1745 provided. I suspect it'd be extremely easy to replace as you'd need a standard rod at least 5" long as in the diagram but also with a drilled hole at the one end for the cotter pin.

Thank you for all the info.
I called Tom Buckles and he had one and it’s on its way here.
I appreciate the diagram - that helped a lot

Sadly, those old school drafting skills are nearly gone. I was taught drafting by hand in high school, thank God, college they didnt teach it at all. The mechanical drawings pumped by computer now dont follow the basic rules anymore, they are just a mess.

It’s a talent that is much appreciated
Have you thought about gathering the drawings up that you have done and publish them
That one you did above makes thing’s incredibly simple
