I am hoping someone here can help me. I am trying to find the value of my powerlube handy oiler. It has a lead top and is in very good condition. The paint and colors are vibrant. There are no scratches or dents in the can. Thank you

IMO - fantasy piece, looks like a wrap, go to the seam and see if you can peel it up - .. ...

My friend had an oiler rare as hens teeth. It was a wrap

I do not see any seams. How else would I be able to authenticate this oiler. It does not appear to be a wrap.

Unless someone went to the extreme trouble of messing up the registration of the colors - this is real.
Note how the inside thin blue line on the back panel is not centered on the cream for instance.
And it would be real hard to replicate the 'tuck' for the seam - and the crud on the color at the top and bottom edges.
If it was a wrap, the vinyl would want to release from the tight curvature on the seam edges.

Looks to me like the blue, which is the last color applied, is shifted to the left.

I've been collecting 40 years and have 2 quarts (Beeline and some Train locomotive QT) that I bought thinking they were real. Both were wraps. I have seen a Powerlube handy oiler and it looks nothing like that. That looks like the quart, not the handy oiler.

The wording on the back panel would be used on a quart, not oiler.

Thank you for the photo of the old quart can, and how old it looks, with years of patina to the cream color, and dark blue color that looks almost black in the photo. Those are the correct colors, and the crisp accurate text, and lines around the cream "creed" panel. I will try to attach the only PowerLube /Powerine handy oiler that I have ever seen. Thank you for messaging me, Randy.

Sorry, but I have to agree with Randy. The "y" font on the "Handy" is all wrong, and looks like a "z". It does not match the "y" in "Company" on the backside, or any of my other PowerLube cans.
