There are a number of things you can look at to tell if it is original. I see a couple of those things in the picture above. Looks like a nice showcase pump!

I’m not saying they don’t exist, because I’m not sure, but I’ve never personally seen a legit 866 showcase. I’ve had a couple of 60S pumps that people stuffed clock mechs in though. And it’s really tough to tell if it is an original clockface if someone did a good job with the install.
Anyone have a picture of an original “866S” tag? That would be interesting.

One of the tell tales signs that it is an original showcase pump is the bottom of the upper face bezel. The backing plate is shaped like a "c" instead of being flat. The "c" shape allows the showcase door to fit into it.
Not sure that the clock mech belongs in it, but it does have the correct knob for the clock for what that is worth..

Not sure. It's been awhile. I think Gas Pump Rob did a video on his channel that explained all the special features of the showcase. One item I think he talked about was an inner channel that acted like gutter for the rain water. Go on Youtube and put in his name and Wayne showcase and see what comes up.

Ryan is right…correct knob. Also the correct inner face bezels it looks like. But that would all be easy to migrate over from a standard 866. Would love to see an 866S tag some day to know for sure.

According to the Gas pump Blue Book, there are 866C but no 866S pumps listed.
