I bought a 1936 Chevy sedan recently. It came with old Allstate tires all around. The fact that it wasn't driven for twenty years, made me decide to replace the tires. The tires are full white walls in 5.25-5.50-17". The treads are very deep but there is some cracking on inner walls, of the tires. Would make great tire display pieces for a collection. Period correct to the 1930's. I have four. Contact me at 410-245-3210. I will text pictures. Asking $50.00 each plus shipping. I think I can ship UPS Ground by simply attaching a label? Do not think they need to be boxed? At least that is what I have heard? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I can’t use the Allstate tires but sure would like to find a Hood tire of similar vintage. They are really hard to find. I have a nice nos Gulf tire that I display in one of the floor stands. I’m sure there are similar Allstate ones. Someone will surely need your tires. Sounds like your’36 is a nice driver if it had good tires on it.
