Yes, that is SNOW. Flakes as big as quarters. After a long, hot, dry summer this was a welcome sight last week here in western Nebraska above 4,000 ft. Hope we have a little "Indian Summer" before real winter sets in though. We probably would have had 4 or 5 inches but ground was still warm from 80's and 90's just a few days before. The snow had melted by noon the next day.
