Hello,

Looking for a nice original regulator gallon stop/finger with the square head set screw that has the wire hole. I believe the reproduction versions are slightly different and would stand out in reference to the four originals...
Also looking for an original "splash cap" to mount the two floats, car/tank indicators. One question on this, how does the cap fasten to the top of the brass over-flow pipe...? Also would the reproduction cap available require holes to mount the floats...?
I realize I may be dreaming on this next request, but I have to ask; does anyone have a decent original 5 gal. top...?

Thanks for any direction in locating these parts!
Jim

I think the original brass pipes were threaded and the cap screwed on and had a set screw

Okay, I found the site that has the reproduction cap. I now see that I have broken parts from 2 different caps.

Thanks for the reply Bill!
Would you have an extra available for purchase...?

Thanks for the photos Dave!
Can you determine how the fitting at the top of your brass overflow pipe is mounted...?
Also, does the cap attached to you floats have threads and/or a set screw hole as Bill mentioned...?

I guess I could purchase a reproduction cap, drill and tap a set screw 180 degrees from each other for mounting atop the brass pipe and then drill two holes for the floats to mount...

Thanks for the replies!

It is threaded on to the pipe. There is a set screw also which I’m sure is there to orient the floats between the fill pipe correctly
