I was at a family gathering this past weekend in Lost Nation Iowa where my dad grew up. We ate lunch at The Pub Club in town. This building used to be the general store back when my dad was a child. They sold groceries in front and oil products towards the back. The very back of the store was used to sell feed for livestock. I noticed this advertisement on an old sliding barn door. I have no idea if it's an original ad or not. The barn door now covers an opening to another building that wasn't part of the general store. It's possible that this door once was used in the back of the store to separate the feed store from the rest of the building but that's just a guess. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
