I started in the hobby in 1989 and after meeting Dick Bennett joined this site in 2001. I haven't posted much the last few years as I haven't been active in the hobby and have been mainly involved in building hotrods and muscle cars. I did go to the Spokane Swap meet last weekend and had the pleasure of reconnecting with an Oldgas member who I haven't seen in several years. I had a great time talking to HUSKYBOB (who has also been a member since 2001) and even sold him a sign! It reminded me of the friends I have made over the years thanks to the network that your host Jim has created with this website. Enjoy the hobby, take the time when you travel to meet other members and most of all give Jim a pat on the back and an "attaboy" for the time and effort he puts in here, Thanks Jim!

You’re right Tim, Jim has put an awful lot of people together in the hobby that never would have met otherwise and I am very grateful for that.
It was really nice seeing you and your wife, just too bad Tom Stover wasn’t along with you again, the three of you together make a pretty fun group.
Also thanks for taking the sign out of your kitchen. Not sure why, but for some reason I’ve taken a liking to Ice Cream signs.
