I purchased this WARECO Oil employee orientation video tape directly from Dick Ware in the early 1980's. Dick was the son of WARE Oil Company founder, Claude Ware, and served as the company's president and chief executive officer at the time. He was quite the cordial gentleman, and well-liked by his employees, who he genuinely treated as family. I met him in Jacksonville, Illinois to pick up a never-used WARECO station neon sign I had purchased. He also offered me this WARECO station employee orientation VHS video tape, and I bought it. At the time, I believe the WARECO gas station count in the Midwest and Florida numbered a little over 90.
This WARECO employee orientation tape is in "as-new" condition...because it is! I have NEVER PLAYED IT. So, I can't describe the contents to you. Although I seem to recall Dick Ware laughing and joking about his appearance in the video. However, I can't guarantee that, since it was a long time ago that we interacted.
I'm offering this tape at the same price I paid Dick Ware 40 years ago. That's $25. Shipping is additional, but shouldn't be much. John

For anyone who is interested, I can convert the VHS to an video file. No charge, other than for shipping the tape around.

Hi, Alan. It's always good to hear from you....ESPECIALLY with your kind offer to convert the VHS tape for a buyer to something possibly more useable and shareable with others. I'd further add that, if a buyer wanted, I'd be happy to ship the tape to you initially. Then, you likely would be nice enough re-label the shipping box and get the tape and thumb drive with the video transfer to the buyer. Of course, the buyer would still be paying for your shipping to them, but this would save one postage cost in total. Thank you for posting, Alan. John

STILL AVAILABLE, Gang. Sure thought a WARECO collector (yes, they're out there!) would have picked this up by now...especially at the $25 price and offer of a no-cost conversion from the VHS tape to something digital. Anyway, thanks for looking again. John
