Hello to all, If anybody knows the whereabouts of where I can find a replacement glass thermometer for a 120 to -50 Porcelain Mail Pouch Sign... 72" tall.... the thermometer itself is about 26.5 - 27"..... the ball on the bottom had broken off at some point in time, so I'm not 100% on the exact size.... I did some looking online and couldn't find any positive leads... I looked at a few older posts on the OG forum, but didn't take away anything from those either. Thank you for your time.. be well.

there is a number or letter at the base of the temp range which you don't show in your picture,

that number/letter is a tube number, all thermometers have different temp ranges depending

on what part of the country they were distributed to and would require a different tube

for that temp range to be accurate .. ... cool

Mine says 36-H ... it's 120 - 50...... this was most certainly made for a cold weather climate!!!

Appreciate ya Chance for Jared's #..... I gave him a call, looks like I'll be getting a replacement soon!!! I'm glad too, they're not easy to come across.

I received the nos replacement thermometer... brought in another working thermometer and established a base # of 70 degrees.. I put a hash mark on the glass with a marker.... on the wood holder for the thermometer, I held it up in place to the sign where the screw holes all lined up and then put a has mark on the wood at the 70 degree location... from there it all lined back up perfectly.. I ran it from 70 degrees down to 20 the other night... it was spot-on.
If anyone else is looking for a replacement, these work perfectly.

Thanks for the connection OLD GAS smile
