My collecting is always evolving and i've decided to move away from almost anything that doesn't lay flat on a wall & I have ended Shoppe operations.

I have sold The 2 best cans. (& looks like they're being offered on 6/12/25 on Oil Can Auction group on Facebook...) and it's a good time to offer up the rest of my collection to the public.
*The ONLY Trade that interests me would be a 6ft round (possible 5ft) CDN North Star DSP in 7 or better condition.

This is about true's oil company. And nothing Political or othewise. Please refrain from commenting besides positively or "I'll take it ".
True's oil company was probably the most important independent jobber on the entire West Coast and helped build a large part of the inland Northwest, including the Cooley damn. They were local to Spokane and I have enjoyed collecting them! Thanx to all that helped ad to my collection!
Some of these are the only examples that I know of still in existence. Most are items that I consider "rare" because I know of less than 12 examples left in existence.

I'm using this as an introduction and will be adding the items for sale to this post on OG then onto FB.

Payment by PayPal is preferred but I can send a invoice to your email for payment by almost any CC/DC.
Shipping is available for most items but pickup is preferred especially for the glass pieces.

1st items up...
Original "Wavy" plastic/lexan Lighted sign in custom frame with lights. Includes 2 gallon Blue Ribbon oil can with the sign graphic printed on 2 sides.
There are no cracks or chips in the plastic. Colors are bright and look to all be factory original paint/coating on the inside. 1 scratch in the yellow part of the rainbow graphic. There's a few letters that have factory paint bubbles/blemishes in a upper corner. Custom framing in black powder coated metal with string led lights to light it up when plugged in.
This is the 2nd one of these that I have owned and 4th one that I know of to still exist and is BY FAR in the best condition of them all! I was very excited to get this upgrade And is why I had the custom frame built for it to be able to shine like it originally did!
The 2 gallon Blue Ribbon can is in nice condition, empty and with the original lid.

"RAINBOW" & "CORALINE" original True's Gasoline grade, Advertising Glass pieces.
Pictures of them in the original gas pumps are included. Many more pics are available.
Both pieces of glass are intact with no chips.or cracks.
Both Coraline and Rainbow glass are 10 3/16 X 4.25.
*RAINBOW glass is a Black/Green/Silver version and came out of a Wayne 100B that i picked up MANY years ago. I don't consider it rare but is very hard to find in this condition with minimal fading, bright colors and no graphics scratches or blemishes beyond factory.
*CORALINE is Amazing! It looks completely washed out and faded until you shine light behind it, And then it's breath-taking! Colors seem to be light Yellow, light Pink and dark Green. No cracks or chips and no scratches in the graphic Only 1 complete CORALINE ad glass was in that pump, as seen in the pic. I didn't get the broken pieces of the other ad glass piece.
I would really rather not ship these but if that's your only option, I would build a wooden crate to ship these in and it would be at your expense/risk. I don't know if there is shipping insurance available for these??

-Green/Red 25lb RAINBOW LUBRICANTS DEPENDABLE LUBRICATION Grease galvi bucket single side printed !!WITH ORIGINAL PAPER STATION STRINGED TAG STILL ATTACHED!!
I have never seen or heard of another copy of this one!
Empty with original lid and handle still attached.
Red/green script/graphic is scratched up close to the top.
DEPENDABLE LUBRICATION graphic is printed twice, on each side of the main graphic.

-3X BLUE RIBBON Motor Oil Cans.
*1 qt can with; "A BLUE RIBBON PRODUCT True's oil Company Spokane Washington" printed on it. Can is very scratched and most of the chrome paint and shine has lifted but can shape is correct height with no dents and both lids.
*1X FULL qt. can with "A BLUE RIBBON PRODUCT" printed on it. There's no printed True's oil co reference on it. These were produced right after the dissolution of True's oil co but b4 rebranding to the buyout companies.
Very nice condition with some scratches/blue paint lift. 1 small "thumb" dent close to the top on 1 side.
*1X 2 Gallon Blue Ribbon Motor Oil Can with "A BLUE RIBBON PRODUCT" printed on the front and on the sides "A BLUE RIBBON PRODUCT True's Oil Company Spokane Washington"!
Very nice condition with squeeze/pickup dents on 1 of the sides and it's corners and some scratches/Blue paint lift.
$500 for the 3 cans + the ride.

Smalls and Ephemera....

*6X True's Matchbooks and covers. 2 are alike but the rest are different. The cover on the far left is a 1 off Salesman Sample and you will NEVER find another.
Colors are bright on all. Paper condition varies and a couple still have matches.

2X True's Road Maps 1 from the 1940s and 1 from the 50s
White one had a plastic cover. Both in OK + condition.

1X True's Rainbow K7 Secret Agent pinback enamel badge. Some enamel is missing but in overall good condition.

More Smalls pics....

First year, 1937, Wayne 70, original True's Rainbow brand, partial gas pump with 2 gallons of color matched Sherwin Williams direct to metal paints for restoration.
Paints were color matched by peeled off paint pieces and from the match book covers for accuracy.
Pump needs correct year doors and a side totalizer Veeder Root totalizer and another sight glass piece.
Pump is solid and rust free and has all the important pieces including the light fixture and hinges.
I have recently bought 1 sight glass piece with the cast case/surround(?).
$650 including the new paints and sight glass piece.
Pump has been disassembled with parts saved in labeled baggies. Guts are out and can go with the pump if wanted.
