For many years I have been searching to find the blue and yellow porcelain ribbons that were used on the doors of Sunoco branded pumps in the 1930's through the 1950's. Typically these ribbons were used on the Martin Schwartz and the Wayne model 80s and the Martin Schwartz 70 pumps. I have not been very successful finding original ribbons in nice condition. So I have reproduced several sets for me to keep and a few extra sets to sell. These pieces are the exact width as the originals with the mounting holes pre-drilled. These have been powder coated and finished to a high gloss with 2K clear. The MS 80 set will include the short curved upper ribbon (which is incredibly hard to find) and the correct length lower door ribbon, you will need 1 set for each door - 2 sets per pump. I have 10 of the MS 80 sets available and 4 sets for the MS 70, $325 per set. I am very pleased with the finished product and I believe you will be too

Hey Mitch, I have not seen any of the repo Dynafuel diamond shaped signs in person. I have had prior buyers match the thickness of my ribbons and then have decals made by local graphic artists. Not sure of the costs, but they can match the color of my ribbons better with them in hand. The original ones are tough to find in nice shape that is for sure. Let me know if you are in need of a set. I do still have the sets for both the MS 80 and the MS 70. Thanks Neil

Good Morning OG members.

I wanted to refresh this thread and let the membership know that I only have 2 sets of these Sunoco ribbons (enough for both doors) for the MS 80.

I also have 4 sets (enough for 2 complete pumps) available for the MS 70 pumps.

If the response is sufficient, I will consider doing another batch, which will be my last ones.

I have not changed the price on these ($325 per set, $650 for a complete pump) which will include "gorilla proof" packaging and free shipping within the continental US.

I am toying with the idea of creating reproduction DynaFuel diamond shaped signs that along with the ribbons would complete these pump doors.

There are some repo versions of DynaFuel signs out there already but those do not seem to be the exact size or color match. I am not sure what these DynaFuel signs will cost to create, so I can't quote a price yet. IF I do make them, they will be made from the same metal stock and powder coating colors as the ribbons, insuring a perfect match.

If you need ribbons, I would suggest purchasing the remaining sets I have in case I do not make any more.

Thanks and Merry Christmas from Green Bay
