So, I am restoring a Tokheim 39 short for my petroleum engineer son. (Proud Dad) While he works for Exxon/Mobil, I am doing it as Texaco as that is what we collected while he was growing up. So, the question is the plunger for the light switch is on the opposite side of the access door. And opening the main door it is a pain to try to push the plunger as it is right up next to the side panel. What was the method for turning on the lights for these pumps? Hopefully the pictures make sense. The silver-colored picture is a generic picture off of the internet showing the plunger up close to the side panel. the other picture shows the plunger (surrounded in blue) as how it looks in the normal assembly. So, how did they turn on the lights????

Their should be a small hole in the side panel to push the round plunger on and off with a round instrument.
