Can someone please show a pic of or explain how the wooden handle attached to the handle shaft on a Tokheim 423 Lubester?

As I recall, the handle was very sloppy and used a C clip to retain? I always drilled out the shank, threaded the handle to accept a 5/16 or 3/8 bolt. Fitted the bolt thru the wooden replacement. Added a washer as a spacer between the knob and steel handle. Use thread lock to hold bolt in place once you are happy with the fit. Paul

Thanks for the response. I would like to keep as original as possible and am hoping someone has a pic of the end of the handle showing the clip.
