I have a Neon Products rotator(the ad message rotates through a window at the bottom). It runs fine but the neon is very weak. It lights but is dim. The transformer has been replaced previouly. There are two rows of neon at 36in. each. Could my problem be that the transformer is too small? Any suggestions? Thanks Carter

that could be your problem. And the cheapest to try. I"ve had decent luck using transformers from Amazon. You'll need 5kv IMO

Over time, the gas will migrate out of the tube. Pumped and fresh from the factory, it will light up very bright. As the decades pass that brightness will lose a little luster, til its a warm gentle glow. Some folks like it that way, some folks like the blinding arc of new, its personal preference.

You can have a neon shop try and repump the tube, or better yet, they will make you a new one. It only original once. Hope this helps.

Thank you both very much. I will try the transformer first. If that does not work I will replace the tubes.
