My Uncle William Jordan served under Roosovelt with the Rough Riders,also did a hitch in the Navy. Died in 1932 buried in Audubon County Iowa with no stone.Recently contacted a man in Clive Iowa that has identified over 100 vets in Iowa and through the VA has placed stones at the graves. Just now got approval for William and this is the stone that will soon be placed for him.Long over due! Thanks Mike Rowley.
