This month something a little different. Flange signs of any brand gasoline, oil, or automobile related. As always give as much info. as you have about the sign. If you need help posting send me the pictures or anyone else that can help. Thanks and let's get those flange signs going. I love flange signs Ted and can't wait to see all the different ones.Here is a painted Oak flange that I photographed at a swap meet this summer and a painted Cities Service from my brothers collection..

A Wadhams Motor Oil...Independent Logo  Wadhams Die Cut Motor Oil sign and a very faded Wadhams True Gasoline  A foreign (European?)Sphinx Benzine  Two different foreign Bowser Pump signs...England and Romania I believe. Here is my "sign tree" I made when I added on to my room. Putting it in a corner is NOT a good idea as I found out. Installed in the middle of a room would have worked out much better.

WOW...what great signs. I have never seen the Texaco that looks like the globe face/truck sign in a flange version before. Of course, I have never seen the Bruinoil or Red Hat either but they are in a completely different category from Texaco items. Keep 'em coming.

Flange-a-rific everybody! I only have this one, decided after I got it home there are not very many places to put flange signs in a room with 8' ceilings where it's not in the way. Went from ebay to the corner. Used from 1922-1930 according to my book.

...my collection of Gulf flanges. They're all different - the first two 'baby blue' That Good Gulf Gasoline flanges were made by different companies, the outlines are a little different, and the flanges are on opposite sides. There are at least three designs I do not yet have - obviously I'd love to hear from anyone who has one I lack. I need to upgrade a couple as well (the No-Nox Incorporated and the That Good Gulf from Louisiana are a little rougher than I'd like)... ...sorry it took so long to get these on Oldgas, but I've been on the road working. Maybe The Powers That Be could keep this topic listed on Oldgas a little longer...

Flange signs are on until the 7th of the month when we change SOTM and even longer if you need a little time. I still have not posted all my flange signs.
