I signed up to this forum so I can share with you an auction that has a few gas globes my father collected over the last 50 years. They are selling in something of an estate auction in Vermont, which is online. So its not Ebay, but I put that image up there because its a similar thing. So far they don't have much interest and prices are low. A couple days left on them.

Don't make me bid on my own stuff because I would feel bad about losing them for just a couple hundred bucks each. They do make excellent light fixtures. I still have a few others we are keeping as well as some rusty old pump towers themselves. Glad to have found this community! I don't really know anyone who has much knowledge about these things.

So your first post here is to tell us that you’re already prepared to become a shill bidder to artificially inflate prices?

Unfortunately that's what auctions have become,live ,on line ,Facebook and others.imo
