Thank you for accepting me to this site/forum. Mike at Old Gas Pump referred me. I recently inherited a Wayne (cut # 615) and someone offered to buy it, but backed out. An acquaintance urged me to keep it and restore it. It's complete (except the top cylindrical glass of course), and has only a dent in one of the outer wrap-around shields. I'm relatively certain that I can figure out how to reassemble it, but joined this site for specific information. I hope that I'm not getting into something over my head. Once finished, it will go well with my 1920's car.
Thank you again.

Hi Steve Christoffers here. I'm a 1943 model, which so far has been a pretty good year. Been all around the country. Spent a lot of time in a 1962 VW Transporter. They were great to work on kind of like tinker toys. Got to where I could drop an engine in 20 minutes. Four or times times across the US camping with my wife, at the time, Diane, and later our young son Keith. Don't know how many of you remember the early 1950's Chevys and Fords. There was so much room under the hood you could crawl in there and sleep. Good times.
