Found this at a monthly flea market this past weekend. Can someone educate me as to what it was used on, maybe the age of the piece? Appears to be made of brass. If I had to guess, someone recently did a poor job of highlighting the side shown with white, the other side is totally red, no white. thanks

Bought this at an online clock auction in Omaha, Put new LED bulbs in it and it keeps time! 14.5" across Pam brand.
