OP carconcierge Petro Enthusiast C Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 111 Likes: 9 md	If CONOCO is the name for the Continental Oil Company and AMOCO is the name of the American Oil Company why is the Texas Oil Company spelled TEXACO not TEXOCO? Just wondering. Anybody know the answer?
