Hey Steve, I like Dawn with hot water and a slightly used red scotch bright, minimal pressure, but I have never tried what is pictured on the lid : )

I'd start with warm water and dawn. Get off what you can. Then I'd use "Wax and Grease" remover, which is what auto painters use to prep the paint surface of contaminants before spraying. I like that stuff because it usually works and doesnt harm paint, by design.

I mean the stuff you buy at a auto paint store, not at your local Walmart, that stuff is different.
