Does anyone know what size screw attaches the faces to the veeder root computer on a Bennett 541? 8-32 screws look close, but seem tight.

8-36 is the correct size. The metric equivalent is M4 and it is easier to find than the 8-36.

Having restored pumps for many years, I always used 1/2" by 8 pan head sheet metal screws with a bonded washer beneath the head. I've restored hundreds like this. Easy to get at Lowes or Home Depot. Paul

I dug though all my taps and surprisingly was able to find a 8-36 tap, so I cleaned out the holes and ordered some 8-36 x 1/2 slotted button head screws. Any other weird size hardware I should look out for? Another question, what holds the sight glass bezel to the computer face?
