Hi everyone,
I recently acquired this Goodyear Wingfoot sign and I’m looking for some help with authentication and dating. I’m relatively new to Petroliana and would love to know the history behind this piece.
Details:

Type: Double-sided, vacuum-formed plastic (acrylic).
Design: Iconic yellow Wingfoot on a blue background.
Construction: Two halves bolted together with a blue center spacer. It has an internal light fixture (looks like it was originally fluorescent/LED).
Condition: Original patina, no major cracks or chips in the plastic "feathers."

Questions for the experts:
Based on the construction and the Wingfoot design, what era would you pin this to? (I’m guessing 70s or 80s?)
Is this a standard dealer "pendant" sign that would have hung inside or outside a service center?
Are there specific manufacturer marks (like Plasti-Line) I should be looking for to verify it’s a dealer original and not a later repo?

What is a fair "collector-to-collector" price range for this in its current condition? Any insight into the history of this specific sign style would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for the help!

Welcome, I worked at a goodyear in the 80s never seen one. I would say it went on top of a display in the store or hung down from the ceiling..
