Two Rare Antique Time Clocks. The one on the left is from the Cincinnati Time Recorder Co. It's a wind-up version and is in working condition. The clock keeps time, and the ringer sounds off.
The 2nd time clock is from the Hallock Clock Co. based in Detroit. This example is far rarer. I don't know if it works or not because the cord is so damaged, I haven't bothered plugging it in. It's an extremely desirable piece, worthy of restoration. I'm not certain but from my research; I believe this clock was originally not electrified. I talked to a museum curator who told me that a lot of Hallock pieces that were still in service got electrified in the 1960's.
The Hallock Company of Detroit, established in 1903, specialized in industrial timekeeping, notably manufacturing time clocks for city workers, like the electrified one noted by the Dearborn Historical Museum on Facebook. Hallock played a part in Detroit's industrial history by providing essential systems for tracking labor, representing a local facet of American clock manufacturing. Can be purchased together or separately. $150.00 for the Cincinnati Time Co. piece and $200.00 for the Hallock. Both clocks are rather heavy for their size. Paypal & Post Office Money Orders are accepted. I also with reluctance will take personal checks but understand they take approx. a week to a week and a half to process through the bank. If shipping is needed, tracking information will be sent when item is ready to ship.
I do have a video of the Cincinnati Time Recorder Clock functioning. Feel free to message the request if you would like to see it.
Note: I'm in the Hillsdale Mi. area, approx. 45 min from Angola IN. I would prefer pickup, but I would ship the clocks individually, at your risk, although insured for damage. I would bulletproof the shipment as much as I am possible, but you know how the mail goes. These are rather heavy for their size probably 30ish lbs apiece.
