Hi looking for Sinclair sign experts I bought this from a dealer at show but have only ever seen porcelain pumplates and can’t find similiars on net so second guessing purchase.the background white area is cream colour from toning I suspect and if looking at an angle looks like rice paper marks or paint flow. The rust in corners is dark brown or black and the bottom of r in Sinclair isn’t even and has the hook or goes lower on bottom like real ones.what do you guys think sign is 11x9 1/2 if all good what or where would they have used this sign on or in. I like the sign hope it’s original. Thanks in advance

I have never heard of or seen a tin sinclair pump plate in my 45 years of collecting

Thanks for the input, me either. I wonder if it was a window or wall sign cause it looks good from the detail perspective. or were there canadian made versions? I wonder if any one has a sinclair book that would shed any light on it because I will see the dealer this weekend at another show and might have to have a conversation with him about authenticity and refund and see how it goes. Appreciate your expertise and if any one else has some input either way would be much appreciated before I make a judgment call on it.
