Hello everyone.
Thank you for letting me join. I'm a new member with my first pump and I am hoping someone could help me answer some questions?
I know it's an A O Smith U501 but, I would like to know what year it's from.
Does anyone know what company used blue faced pumps? I have a feeling the previous owner painted the bottom doors most likely ford blue because they don't match the faces. I would like to get the correct the correct decals and repaint the doors if I could identify it, if not I'll just do something custom.
Lastly there are 3 holes on the top of it. Are they for a sign? If so could you send me a link to an image of what it looked like?

Hope someone can help.me figure this out?

Welcome to the site. I looked in Jacks gas pump book about the year but does not have that model listed. It has the 301 and 303 as 1962 and then the next model the 505 as 1966. So, I would think your 501 is 1962-1966 somewhere.

I am sure there was a sign of some sort on top, but I don't know which one maybe someone will recognize that hole pattern, but possibilities could be endless.
