Thanks for the kind words guys, I was very excited when I found this, I actually knew about it for two years, but it wasnt for sale, then finally I got the phone call, couldnt get over there fast enough. Ward, the pump originally came from canada. The guy that I bought it from had it around 8 years in his old barn, he seen it going down the road in the back of a pickup in dayton, ohio coming from canada to the show to be sold. He flagged the guy down and bought it. Then it sat in his barn until I bought it yesterday, and someone started to do some work on the tops, so I got a head start on the restore. Cant wait to get started. I dont know what it will be yet..... You guys got any ideas? Glen

My vote is for a candian brand. I am restoring two of these 700 doubles both with under pricers right now. One of them is going to be red indian and the other imperial. I would like to do one in ba one day mabe a model with underpricers and meters. These pumps were never used in the us so any us only brands make for more of a fantasy pump in my opinion. I have brand new skins for 700 clearvision 16 ga cold rolled laser cut with all the holes in the right spots if you need any (sure does make the restoration easier. The tags look great on that pump are they origional? Usually the black paint is all gone on them.

I agree with ya ward, last night the wife and I were talking about the same thing. I love Red Indian, but I dont need another red pump if ya know what I mean. What about White Rose, CREAM AND GREEN? One tag is original the other is new that I got with the pump still has the clear platic protection on it, no serial numbers stamped yet. Another thing the wife and I talked about last night was having skins made up, How much for yous Ward? Thanks for all your input. Any info you have will be put to work. Glen

To my understanding the U.S.had a law on the amount of gas in the air, 10 gallons at a time and that is why double visibles were not used here. Is that correct? But what about double attachments and pumps made by people like Flekenstine?

I have heard about that law that stated only ten gallons above the ground at a time but I am not a lawyer. White rose is beautiful on a double visible but the colours are not geeen and cream. The colours for a white rose are a nice deep dark yellow and black. It is easy to get white rose repo globes too and they look good on narrow or wide glass as this is how they used them. The repo tag would be the oval tag right? There are at least two variations of the top tag one states that it takes six strokes to fill ten gallons and the other on does not state the number of strokes. I have a really nice picture of a clearvision 700 restored white rose I could send it to you but I am out of town right now. Did you get the electrical inspection cover with your pump? If you have any questions on this pump ask away.

Ward, I would like a picture of the White Rose double. Yes the oval tag is the repop one, I wasnt sure on the color of the pumps that White Rose used, I have three porcelain signs from White Rose. No globes from White Rose, but am looking for originals.
