My wife and I traveled to a couple of auctions this past weekend. There wasn't any petro stuff, but we saw some cool cars and old gas stations along the way. King of the tailfins: Frazer:

The first two pics are of a former Humble or Enco station. This was probably a Gulf or Union 76 station. This former Sinclair station is now a detail shop. This former Sinclair station is an auto repair shop.

Cool, thanks for posting. You gotta love those old '59 cads! I like the coupes but there is a lot to be said for those flat-top sedans too!
I remember the good old days when gold was worth more than rust!

Cool Pops..thanks for sharing. reminds me to get out there and take some pictures of old stations that were converted to modern buisinesses...I know where some are and need to document them before they are gone forever. Thanks again Pops

Thanks for the pictures, Bob. The old Cads look great for being out in the weather. Seeing those old stations makes me think about how many of us would love to own and restore one of those old buildings. I would. I'd have to take that gable roof off that Auto Care Solutions building. That's weird looking!
