Here's the globes I got this week. I'll try to post the rest of my buys later. The Frontier globe was a deal I made a while ago but I just made the final payment and picked it up on the way back from IG. Yea...I have to make payments to buy this stuff. And thanks to the seller for working with me!

I got a few things at Iowa Gas. A couple nice signs that are upgrades to ones I already had. The 14" HC was used on truck doors and the Opaline sign was used on lubesters. This is the big version of this sign. The blank panel along the top was for dealers to paint their names or company names. Two versions of this sign, one with a phone number, one without.

Couple more things. A pair of lubesters I don't really need but the price was right. This is a framed cut out from an old grease keg, low dollar but it looks good on the wall. A Dino globe, single lens. It has an extra "Circle R" below the "O" most do not have. Minor difference but it was only $50.

I had a good week, although an expensive one! I picked up several nice signs. This is the new showpiece of my collection. I found this Chevrolet sign at a local trades day. They don't get much better than this, I have never seen a nicer one. This 42" GalTex sign from Iowa Gas. A big thanks to Paddy (texas pelican) for getting this one for me. I've been looking for one of these for awhile. And finally a Standard Blue Streak Ignition flange sign from ebay.

Wes, I just looked at my Dino regular and supreme globes. The supreme has the extra little "circle R". Was this more rare too, or only on the regular? Tara

Hello Tara I am not an expert on this but from what I have seen, the Dino with the second "Circle R" is uncommon, not sure if I would call it rare or not. As for the Dino Supmeme, I just looked at two and they both had the "Double circle R's", maybe a single R would be uncommon? I already posted a picture above of the Double R Dino, here is a picture of the Single R Dino... And a picture of a Double R Dino Supreme Also, a couple more of my Iowa Gas buys: A nice 5 quart Opaline And a pair of signs, the ARCO was used in a gas pump. (ARCO bought out or took over a lot of Sinclair stations back when.) And a license of some kind, maybe a station buisness license?
