We did Texaco and Indian non gasoline signs a couple months ago and now it is time for the gasoline side. Some of the stuff is more common so everyone should have something to contribute. I have not had time to shoot any pictures yet so hopefully others can get the SOTM going. Thanks Ted

I don't have enough variations of Texaco to dedicate a whole wall to them so you'll have to put up with the other brands too. A few variations of Skychief, a Firechief and another Indian.

Thank you Paul and Curt for jumping in there. Here is a 6 foot Texaco double sided porcelain 1965 sign that Gary Pedersen bought at Fred's and if he couldn't sell it I would have done a trade as it is just about mint. He sold it too cheap. I have one alreay. Just can't catch the daylight to get pictures of my gas junk. Life is rough on the ranch.

The one below is a double sided porcelain and again nicer than mine that got traded at Fred's show. It belonged to oldgas member Rick Snell from Washinton.

Ted Until I shoot my own stuff. Good night gas geeks of america. From Lodi CA where we all know extists from the national news we made and dropping real estate prices.

Here's one which you might want to post on "oldgas.com". It is a picture of an INDIAN REFINING COMPANY station which was located at 119 South 2nd Street in Louisville, Kentucky, taken approximately 1930.

The unusual thing about the station is the sign out front. I've never seen another picture of one like it. If you look closely, you can tell that it included neon tubing. I suspect that it might have been a prototype which the INDIAN would have used if they had not been acquired by The Texas Company in 1931.

Best regards -

Jim Hinds (aka "indianrefining1931")

Soon Tom soon. You and Hubba can stay in the house. Close to bullets.
Here are the Fire Chief pump plates used from 40's until they stopped using them. The 12X18 is a 40's with a hyphen where later plates dropped it. All porcelain from my collection. Ted
