Butch:

Welcome.

Without a Model/Cut number, we really can't help you. Please post a photo (or send me a digital shot and I'll post it for you).

Once we see the pump - then we can direct you to aftermarket parts (if available), or maybe someone has a couple of spare parts laying around.

Later . . .

Jim

On pages 248 to 251 of my Gas Pump Identification book I show 18 different pieces of St. Louis pumps and equipment, including the Model 409 that I am restoring. If you don't have a copy of the book, you can purchase one right here on this website, the profits on the sale of the book help support the website.

Thanks Jim and Jack for your quick replies.
On the triangle Alum. tag on the base of the pump I can read #711K16578. Does this help any one out there?
This pump has the (cupped) cast on each side above the light sockets. It's one peice of cast on the very top of the pump.
My digital is broke so no photos. Sorry.
Thanks Again,
Butch

Finding St. Louis Pump literature has been almost impossible for me to find and I live in St. Louis. All the pictures in my book were taken from ads.
The numbers don't mean anything, as there is no information on the company anywhere. The short history on the company I have in my book came from the St. Louis City Directories.
I picture six different clock face St. Louis pumps, so if you can't post a picture, I suggest you purchase my book.
