Today my wife and I created some wallpaper for gas geeks. Actually we moved some cabinets out of what used to be an office to create a family room where the teens can hangout. My wife hatched the idea of a travel theme and I supplied the maps.

Here's what we started with.

We laid out some maps on the floor to get some ideas.

Then we used some paste to put the big ones on the wall. My wife did this while I scanned and printed some more graphics to fill in with.

Here' what the wall full of maps and map and travel graphics looked like when it was close to finished.

Smiley says thank you.

It may be hard to tell from the pictures but all of the maps and brochures are California or California travel related mostly covering the Coast Highway. Obviously you could do this for any area. Having a specific theme made it more interesting too.
