Hi everyone...I am posting this pic for my Buddy Tim Hanson. he just scored this fine Bowser Pump.

I think he fell over ..thats why the pictures like that...LOL

This is what he wrote me:
Howdy Hubba,Thought you would get a kick out of this.I got a phone call tonite about a pump for sale.It was right here in Puyallup.Less than 2 miles from my house! Further proof that this stuff is still virtually under our noses.Probably drove by this thing 1000 times. It was stashed out back out of view from the road. You can post it on Oldgas if you want.Take care buddy....Tim Hansen

Kudos Tim...very Cool

AAHH Tim, thats a Boswer 585, just like the one I traded to Larry. very rare, its the one on my website thats finished in Signal , the front and rear of the pump or (Doors) are not on hinges they are hooks at top and bottom and it must fit just right inorder to close, great find, on mine the side glass had old paper prices in between two glass, some didn't have this but had a frosted glass, with lines, agin great find.

Hey Dwaine,I've been gone all weekend and just got home. The ID tag says it's a 565HC.But if you look on page 114-115 in Sim's book it actually has more features of the 557.Since they were manufactured within a year of each other I'm guessing they used up some parts from the 557 series. It does have some different features than any of the other Bowsers I've had.The wierdest one being the 7"x5" ad glass on the sides.I'll take some closeups, and send them to you....Tim

Tim,
It appears that your pump has the taller base with the hose retractor. Also noticed the hose bars on the lower side.

You are correct Dick.It also has two tiny ID tags on the faceplates that are attached with screws that read"REELWAY".Maybe the predecessor to the later"ROL-WAY" system on the 585's.I'll get photos to Dwaine tomorrow afternoon. Tim
