I don't collect those signs so I cannot help with the authenticity. However, you might try searching previous posts about those Conoco signs. I seem to remember that your signs 3 & 4 may be from oil can racks, while the first two may be from pump skirts. I recall one of the posters pointing out the more rounded edges in the oil rack signs such as you are showing in #3 and #4.

I hope that helps.

Beverly confused - statements as above need too be backed up with proof as not too confuse a legitimate question .. ... cool

Thanks for looking out for me, Advertologist!! hahaha! My signs #1 and #2 do seem to look like the ones you posted. Thanks for taking the time to post those.
I have listing printouts on all the signs that my husband purchased from eBay. You can't believe (well maybe you can) the nonsense that some sellers wrote to describe some these fake signs so that they would sell!! It is such a shame that this fun and nostalgic hobby is infected with so much fraud and dishonesty. I appreciate the help I am getting so that I don't pass on the fake signs as originals.

Andy, Thanks for offering your help. I did read that comment in the archives about the corners being more rounded on some sign. In fact, I think that I have read every comment on this site back to 2012! hahaha. Interesting reading, but I'm still hopeless at deciding if they are real or not!!
