Looking for a value on this gallon can. I haven’t been able to find may of these online especially in the gallon size.

I collected Texaco for close to 40 years and you don't see these very often. If the back is comparable to the front....then I think to the right collector you could easily $1,200+....quarts sell for $800-$1,000. Only my opinion. And I wouldn't be suurprised if your private messages has lots of offers....Have a good day.

What does that back of it look like?..Is it still full? I'd imagine it wouldn't be, but from the picture you show though, the edge looks crisp....was it local to your area?

Hi! Yes it is a full unopened can. No major dents or scratches on the back, similar to the front. I can’t remember the back story on it but it has been here at our house since my grandfather owned it many years ago.

The original poster above had an eBay asking price of $2,499.99 for a better condition example of this can. The auction was taken down because of the old "the item is no longer available" line. John
